What is the difference between the different model polycore mattresses?
A All the Lights-Out II cores are the same; the outer coverings (tickings) are different. Bio-Pruf, Sleep Safe, and Midnight are exactly the same vinyls with the exception of the color. What mattress do you recommend children?
A If you are operating a summer camp and will be primarily housing children we feel that the Lights-Out II will be the best value for your dollar.
We operate year round running a youth program in the summer and assorted adult programs the balance of the year. What mattress would you recommend?
A We would recommend the Sleep Easy II. The denser mattress will hold up under adult use and will not lose its resiliency to spring back, thus providing you with a longer life.
How do we clean the mattresses?
A recommend that you use a solution of water with an anti-bacterial soap and then spray with Lysol or another disinfectant. Using bleach will dry out the vinyl and reduce the productive life of the mattresses.
My mattress has been ripped or has graffiti on it. What can I do?
A Bourdons offers assorted Vinyl Bond patch kits for repairing small tears in the vinyl mattresses. We also offer a wide selection of zippered replacement covers which can refurbish and extend the life of your mattress core.
